The villas at Disney’s Grand Floridan Resort and Spa will undergo a major renovation

Famous for its 1890s Victorian architecture and elegance, The villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is a favorite vacation spot for Disney Vacation Club members. On the eve of the 50e Walt Disney World Resort Anniversary Celebration, Disney Vacation Club shared a first look at the rooms members will call home from summer 2022.

The expansion will add approximately 200 proposed resort studios, a unique Disney Vacation Club room type to the villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. At the same time, existing villas, including luxury studios, one and two bedroom villas, and large three bedroom villas, will be upgraded. The planned expansion and enhancements will provide customers with even more opportunities to create magical vacation memories with nearby Magic Kingdom Park.

The new resort studios on offer will feature two queen-size beds and a day bed that can accommodate up to five people.
