After surviving a heartbreaking relationship and emotional abuse, actress Angie Jerez is ready to start her life over with her new travel agency.
Middlesex County, New Jersey – October 15, 2021 – Famous “Refuge From The Storm” actress Angie Jerez is happy to announce the launch of her new travel agency this month. Entitled “Casa De Ocio” (Leisure House), the company aims to help people (especially women) travel the world at very affordable rates.
Angie’s decision to go into entrepreneurship comes after her successful struggle to overcome an emotionally abusive relationship. Emotional abuse can break or make people break. Like many, Angie too had suffered from a traumatic past because of her narcissistic boyfriend. But unlike many people who crumble in the face of adversity, Angie refused to get bogged down and bounced back even harder than ever.
“It’s an exciting time for me to share with you everything I just launched this month, my new travel agency, Casa de Ocio. I had gone through a difficult phase in the past; I was dating a narcissistic person who was emotionally abusing me, leaving me feeling sad and depressed most of the time. But, after being the target for far too long, I decided I had had enough and no longer had to bow in the face of such threatening abuse and adversity. I have always been confident in my strength and decided to end things for good to start my life in a new way, but this time through a new path. So, I got into entrepreneurship with my new travel agency, â€said Angie.

Asked about her inspiration behind the launch of the travel agency, Angie shared her deep passion for travel.
“I am a frequent traveler and have always loved to travel. So when I intended to start my life in a new way and start a new business, I wanted to start it with something that I am deeply connected to. And, there couldn’t be a better game than traveling.
“I’m happy with the way my new life is going right now. I was finally able to free myself from the clutches of a murky past and I feel grateful that I found the strength to start all over again. I just want to say that emotional abuse is real and that at least 3 in 10 women have experienced it at some point in their lives. But I would also like to add that women are strong too. They are powerful, do not break down easily, and can still take charge of their lives.
