Kinsale Yacht Club located in Kinsale, County Cork is just 120 nautical miles from Wales, 240 from north west France and just 500 from the Galician coast of northern Spain.

Kinsale Yacht Club is only a few minutes walk from all the shops, hotels, pubs and restaurants of Ireland’s foodie capital, but best of all, it’s only 30km drive from Cork, Ireland’s second city. Ireland, and in between is one of the region’s main assets – Cork International Airport – with daily connections to many European capitals.

The Club members, who number more than 600, race Cruisers, One Design Keelboats and Dinghies.

The club organizes inshore and offshore racing, has an active cruising scene, a powerboat section and, most importantly, for any true club, a strong and vibrant junior training program.

Beyond the club’s own marina is the clubhouse itself and the dinghy park. In the clubhouse there are changing rooms, a bar and a restaurant, all wheelchair accessible. The full time club secretary, steward and marina manager are on hand to look after visitors and sailing members in a relaxed, informal and fun environment.

The club welcomes new members and always has room on its members’ yachts for newcomers to the sport.
