The Sunborn Gibraltar is about to take luxury to the next level, the seventh level to be exact.
The Sky Restaurant opens on the seventh floor of the super yacht hotel.
From July 1, 2017, guests will be able to dine under the stars at sea on the incredibly opulent ship.
Modern fusion cuisine will blend the flavors of Gibraltar, North Africa, Lebanon, Morocco and the Mediterranean in this quaint restaurant setting.
Chef of Italian origin, Mirko Scarabello runs the kitchen, having worked with some of the best chefs in Europe.
A Josper charcoal oven will be the centerpiece of the dining experience, offering tender meats and perfectly cooked seafood and vegetables.
The specialty dish? Tuna steak with Kalamata olive salsa.
Other mouthwatering meals include a spicy Moroccan burger, a roast leg of lamb, and a roasted eggplant shakshuka.
Sky Restaurant is perched atop the Sunborn super yacht, Gibraltar’s only five-star accommodation.
It is also the world’s first super yacht hotel, with impressive rooms, cocktail bars, casino, pool and terrace, spa, gym and grand ballroom.
Guests can dine at the rooftop restaurant as the ship heads to the Rock of Gibraltar.
Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors and terraces on both sides give way to stunning views over the famous Bay of Gibraltar.
You can stay on the Single Ship from £ 295 per night on a double B&B basis.
Gibraltar has long attracted holidaymakers from the UK, as a British Overseas Territory.
Located at the southernmost point of the Iberian Peninsula, it shares its northern border with Spain.
The territory is just under a three hour flight from London.
