This is a legend of a peasant in a village on the island while walking with his cow that fell off a cliff, legend has it that the poor Jacinto try to take his cow but died in the attempt … The legend comes to life when he faces the cliff can be seen when the sea breaks against the rocks and say it is trying to climb Jacinto then you’re screaming gimme Jacinto cow, so that it can help. It’s just a neighborhood legend.

Marcela V @ 5:01 am

At least I’m Puerto Rican I have not heard that! Maybe some rap song or Regueton mentioned that phrase? It is possible but not common.

Hi Greetings. I’m from the area of Aguadilla less than 5 minutes from the town of Isabela from where the legend of “Jacinto bring me or give me the cow.” This place is located on the beach Jobos, Isabela, PR Jacinto’s Well as is known, is a rock formation shaped deep well where the waves of the sea clash. When you come to this training and screaming “Bring me the cow Jacinto” in a calm, the waves are agitated in an impressive way and the more you call him more agitated sea. It is very impressive and there is the legend that lives and others have reported. For only friend that phrase you will hear in Jobos Beach, Isabela but not in Puerto Rico unless you are talking of the subject. Greetings.

You must have the wrong country, because in Puerto Rico, do not use that expression. There is a very popular song called “The Cow”, but even the Puerto Rican singing, singers are Dominican.

Every time I feel more happy to have joined this group … Look at all please. This question (“Give me the cow!”) To respond very well only to a specific location (and vicinity) from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. Others who are not there, but of that nationality, unaware of the cry, some are surprised and some even take offense … Then come other people (like James), and patiently summary explanations … I mean visitors can learn about that famous scream while a villager can now totally ignorant … And now, the Internet, people everywhere (really, from all sides) we learn Jacinto and his cow … Thanks to whoever asked the question.

Darth Eugene Vader @ 9:59 am
